歌うことが好きなソウルのゲイの人々が集まるG-Voice。毎週末、ともに支え合いながら練習に励む。恋愛やカミングアウト、友情についてうたい、たまにはふざけたり泣いたり。そしてときにはセクシーに。劇中で10周年を迎える彼らのオリジナル曲や政治的な活動を通し、現代の韓国のゲイたちの苦悩や喜びが垣間見える。

Normal Screen will present the Korean feature documentary WEEKENDS, about Seoul’s gay choir group G-Voice.
Premiered in 2016 at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival and won the Panoroma Audience Award – Panorama Dokumente. Japan premiere at TPAM in Yokohama was received by passionate audiences who looked forward to sharing it with the audiences in Tokyo.
WEEKENDS shows gay people’s struggle and joy of their experiences in Korea today through their original songs/ performances and political actions.
In Korean, with English and Japanese subtitles.
